22 Weeks Baby Girl #2

Hello sweet baby! This week I got to see you again at my doctor appointment, we had to do another ultrasound because at 17 weeks we weren't able to see all your anatomy. Luckily everything went perfectly, you have a 4 chamber heart, you are kicking and moving like crazy and growing and developing right on track! That makes us so happy! Sadly due to all the virus stuff your dad still isn't able to join me for the appointments but I have a great doctor and he has a wonderful staff so they make it easy when I do have to come in. My next appointment will be the glucose test where I have to chug liquid with glucose in it in 5 minutes to make sure I don't have gestational diabetes. But that wont be until the end of May so we have some time.

Mommy has been struggling this week with some insomnia, I have been waking up most mornings around 3 am unable to fall back asleep until 6 am. Luckily a good friend of mine told me about a sleep aid that is safe for me to take while pregnant and since then I have slept great. I have only used it twice but it has helped me get some rest. I saw this weeks letter board idea on Pinterest and had a good laugh, I knew that it was meant to be for this weeks picture. :)

Lexi has been so sweet with you lately, I think she is really starting to understand that there is a baby in my belly. She loves to rub my tummy and give you kisses and she'll say "Hi baby sister!" It melts my heart, I can't wait to see your amazing sister bond! We sure love you girls and are so blessed to have you in our lives! Keep growing baby!

21 Weeks Baby Girl#2

Sunday 4/12/20

Happy Easter sweet baby! What a great spirit filled couples of weeks it has been for our family. We had Conference last week and this week we focused on our Savior to prepare for Easter Sunday! This week we have done our resurrection eggs to help us get ready for Easter Sunday. Each day your sister get to open 2 eggs and we read a part of the Easter story to her, inside each egg is a symbol of Easter. She has really enjoyed it and it has brought a sweet spirit into our home this week.

Today Easter Sunday we watched a couple of videos on Easter, made resurrection rolls, ate a yummy dinner and spent a lot of quality time together at home as a family! We are so excited for you to be a part of the holidays that are coming up once you are here, I love holidays with my family! This week you are the size of a spaghetti squash  and the kicks are still coming which makes me happy!

20 Weeks Baby Girl#2

Sunday 4/5/20

We're half way there!!! I can not believe it, seems like these last 5 weeks have flown by for me. It is my favorite weekend in April, Conference weekend! And this years has been one to remember, not only is it the 200th Anniversary of the Restoration and Joseph Smith's first vision but its the first time that it hasn't been broadcasted in the Conference center. With the Covid-19 virus that has been spreading they can only have 10 people in a room together at one time so the first Presidency and the speakers rotated out during each session, even though it was different I felt the spirit so strongly! My favorite part was being able to join in the Hosanna Shout with our dear prophet and the apostles live on TV. I think I have only ever been a part of that 3 times in my whole life that I can recall, it was so spiritual!

This past week has just been full of conference prep for our family, we did some fun Come Follow Me for toddlers conference prep packets for Lexi and it has brought a wonderful spirit into our home this week. I have been loving feeling you kick more and more as you continue to grow, you are now the size of a carrot. Keep growing little one, we sure love you!
