Our 2015 Review!

Okay wow, its been forever since I have blogged, I guess you could say that time got away from me. Well 2015 was a heck of a year for sure, and I wanted to share some highlights that weren't already blogged about. You know since in 2015 I only wrote about New Years, Valentines and a baby shower {which was a blast!}



Well the first off Justin and I celebrated 7 years of marriage which is crazy because it doesn't even feel like its been that long. We spent our Anniversary weekend in Idaho Falls shopping and stayed at a hotel so it was a mini vacation.

Other exciting news is.....JUSTIN GOT INTO PHARMACY SCHOOL!! 3 years later and we couldn't be happier to begin that journey. Proud wife moment for sure I could not have been more excited for him.

 

We spent the summer {when Justin wasn't doing Pharmacy hours} playing in the sun. We spent 4th of July weekend with the Almonds at Bear Lake.

and did a weekend trip with friends the following weekend in Bear Lake. So much fun!

Our niece Claire was born in August making that the first niece and granddaughter on the Almond side yay! She is super cute to say the least! Born with a full head of dark black hair she brings so much joy to our family for sure!

Halloween this year we just did a costume party over at our friends house. Typically Justin is not one for dressing up, but since I told him he could be a hunter {his favorite} and me the deer he was all in!

My little sister was in the Nutcracker again this year soloing as the Peacock and she was amazing!
Thanksgiving was fun with my family we got to have everyone there so that made it even better!

It may look like we are just all on our cell phones but I promise you it was due to a family game we were playing on the PS4 thanks to Brady!

Christmas with Justin's family was a blast also, its been years since his older brother Matt's family came and we even got to experience first hand what it would be like to have kiddos on Christmas morning. :)

 We finished out the year with our friends for a New Years Eve get together. We watched a movie and had chocolate fondue with yummy fruit and candy to dip. What a fun year 2015 was and we look forward to what 2016 brings us!

1st Baby Girl Shower!

I seriously have been so excited lately about throwing showers, some say I should do this as a job... maybe one day I'll do that. :) Anyway I have some awesome friends who have been so kind to let me plan and throw showers for them. Well I FINALLY got to host a baby girl shower! Our good friends are having a sweet little girl. When I asked the momma to be if I could throw the shower and what colors she wanted I just knew the theme needed to be "Pretty in Pink." What is a baby girl shower without PINK?! I couldn't have done this without my best friend Ashley she was a life saver. She was kind enough to let me bounce ideas off of her, she designed the shower invites and thank yous. Seriously she is the best! 


The food was amazing, our momma to be went on a baking kick and insisted we allow her to help with the food, we are sure glad we did! :) Most of the decorations were done by Ashley and I, the rest we purchased to save on time. We played some really fun games like Don't say the word baby, guess how many kisses are in a jar, and my favorite Pinterest find the candy bar game.

All in all the shower was ar geat success, a BIG thank you to the mother to be Jenny for allowing me to host your shower, and to Ashley for helping me plan and put this on what a success! Well hopefully this will not be my last shower, I hope to host many more.

Oh HoW i LoVe YoU!

Today would be what people I guess call our engageaversary, 7 years ago today Justin asked me the easiest questions and we've been happy ever since. Now of course I am not saying we are perfect but (warning this is going to be cheesy) we are PERFECT for each other. I found this really cute....I guess we'll call it a quote that seriously means a lot to me.

Seriously for me this sums up how I think Justin and I are. He is my best friend, he is someone I can always count on to listen to me. He may not know what to say (which seriously I dont know many guys who do) but he still tries to make me feel better when I am feeling low. Its hard to think of where I would be without Justin, seriously that is like a nightmare to me. I love this man with all my heart and I am so grateful that he picked me. <3

HaPpY nEw YeAr!! 2015

Well and just like that it is now 2015!! I am afraid if I blink I will miss this whole year, seriously like I stated in my last post I can't believe how quickly 2014 turned into 2015. Well when we rang in 2015 we were house/dog sitting for my best friends mom. We got to celebrate with good friends and miss Daisy (puppy). We had dinner, played games, had lots of snacks in between and drank bubbly while the count down began!
