Lexi girl you’re 6 years old today, I can hardly believe it myself! You told me you wanted to do a black light party so we bought some fun decor from hobby lobby, some black lights off of Amazon and a ton of glow sticks.
On your actual birthday your class was finally able to celebrate Valentine’s Day due to 2 canceled school snow days. I bought your class some doughnuts and juice and helped with games at the party, then Hailey and I took you your favorite McDonalds for lunch, when you got home I surprised you with a birthday balloon at the bus stop. That night we had a steak dinner with grandpa and grandma Almond and aunt Dorothy and opened presents! You got your own set of golf clubs, a bath robe from mom and dad and a Pokémon book from Hailey. Grandma and Papa got you a cute new dress and aunt Dee Dee gave you some money.
That weekend we had your birthday party with friends. We reserved our churches gym and played glow in the dark games like tic tac toe, bowling and ring toss, we also did freeze dance. We played pass the parcel (a game from the tv show Bluey) had pizza and cupcakes and just let the kids play! I think it’s safe to say you had the best birthday!
