2024 Year in Review

January-

My parents, Brady and his girlfriend Chelsea came did a visit. We went to lunch, bowling and played games and watched movies.

Also, had to add this picture because I loved how my winter decor turned out.

January 2nd pictures of the girls having fun with Hailey’s play make up set

January 3rd- We started a new tradition during FHE tonight, we set some New Years goals as a family. We took a sheet I found on Pinterest that was split into four sections. A spiritual goal, social goal, physical goal and intellectual goal, it was fun to see what we came up with together as a family.

Lexi was a champ, she said it hurt and she definitely wanted to cry a couple of times but she was so tough and did awesome!

January 31st - Well today was one for the books. Our little firecracker Hailey tried her hand at being a hairdresser today, and cut her hair! Oh my heavens she likes to keep me on my toes, thankfully I have been blessed with some amazing and talented people in my life who came to my rescue today! My sweet friend Sadie gave her the cutest haircut and we love Hailey’s new hair! Now to practice parting her hair to the left to hide the short pieces and trying new styles!

She feels her emotions deeply and loves fiercely! Her favorite color is pink like her big sis, she loves being outdoors and playing in the water, loves being independent and is always happy to have play time with her friends!

Hailey had her first friend party and wanted it to be a mermaid theme. It was so much fun planning this party! We did pin the tail on the mermaid, made wands and crowns and then played in the pool. Huge shout out to my friend Kendra for the beautiful mermaid cake, it made the whole party!

We woke up told grandpa and grandma all about our trip, got a load of laundry done then grabbed breakfast at Denny’s with my parents. After breakfast we packed up and left around 12:30 to head to my sister Emily’s house for the rest of the day. Once we got there the girls told aunt Emi all about their trip, then we went to dinner at Jersey Mike’s and played at Neptune park. Afterwards we got donuts at Younuts and then we took the girls back to get ready for bed and the adults all went and played 3 par golf.

August 20th Our family annual back to school dinner 2024. Since we just got back from Disneyland I knew our theme had to be from Walt Disney himslef. This years theme is:
✨”If you can Dream it, You can Do it!”✨
I have to say this one turned out pretty darn cute! We had steak with mushrooms, cheesy mashed potatoes and corn on the cob for dinner with Mickey Mouse ice cream bars for dessert. During dinner we asked each of our girls what they are most excited about for this school year. Lexi said she is so excited to have some of her favorite friends in her class and Hailey is excited about playing and learning letters. Our evening ended with father’s blessings and I painted Lexi’s nails before bed.

August 21st First Day of School for Lexi!
