Lexi Anne: 3 Years Old!

February 16, 2020:

Lexi girl you are official THREE years old today! I can't believe it! I know, I know I say that each year but seriously it amazes me how quickly the time really does fly! This year for your Birthday theme we went with "Donut Grow Up" your Birthday was on a Sunday so I had dad buy donuts on Saturday and then we saved them for Sunday morning. We surprised you with the donuts and a trike  which you loved, it will especially come in handy this Spring and Summer!

Since your birthday was over President's Day weekend we had a big family party, we celebrated our Almond family February birthdays Grandpa, Caleb, you and Teagon. Grandma Almond made each birthday kid their very own special cake and Caleb and Dillon made you a fun scavenger hunt for you to find Grandpa and Grandma's gift to you.

At 3 years old you love all things outdoors, which is very hard during Idaho winters. You love Toy Story especially number 4 with Foky, Frozen 2 and Mickey Mouse Club House. You are taking another dance class this year and had your first dance recital in January. It was so fun to watch your little personality shine once you got comfortable on stage. Come this Fall you will start your first year of Preschool which is so crazy to me but I know you will love it. You like to pretend that you are going to school sometimes and we bought you a little backpack that you like to put your stuff in.

You told me your favorite color is Pink, you love going to McDonald's with friends but you call it "Old McDonald's. You are very independent and love to do things by yourself first, which is good but can be hard for me sometimes. You love to dress up in your Princess dresses and dance to the Frozen 2 soundtrack, you love to dance with your Minnie Mouse and insist that Dad and I join you! You are talking more and more everyday and love to include everyone in your playtime,it has been so fun for us to watch you interact with other kids but to also learn how to use your imagination and play alone with your toys.  You are such a joy and a big helper to your dad and I. We love you so much Lexi girl! Happy Birthday!
