Hi Baby girl! This week we have Memorial Weekend but this year it's been really cold and stormy weather and your dad is working so we don't have any major plans. We did go to Grandpa and Grandma Almond's house Sunday and Monday to let Lexi play with her Jeep and we had a little BBQ just us 3 Monday. It was fun to play house over the weekend to see what it will be like when we get our own house hopefully before December! On Monday Memorial day we also joined aunt Dorothy and Great Grandma Ruth at the Cemetery to decorate Great Grandpa Chet Ruth's grave. It has been so fun to keep this tradition alive with family.
I had my glucose test the day after Memorial day and it wasn't too terrible. The drink flavor I chose was Lemon Lime but I still can't stand wearing surgical masks. Every time I have an appointment I have to wear one the entire time I'm in the hospital, I don't know how anyone can get used to them but I applaud those who have to wear them for more than an hour. As for the virus, it doesn't look like it will be going away anytime soon but for now things are starting to open back up and summer has officially started.
This week you are the size of a head of cauliflower 14.5 inches and 2 whole pounds, and big news when I went to the Dr. this week we tentatively chose a date to have my c-section! If all goes as planned you will be born on Thursday August 13th, it is so crazy to me that we already have a date picked out it's getting more and more real! We sure do love you little one, keep growing!

Hello sweet baby! This week your Dad and I celebrated 12 years of being married! Our anniversary is May 15, since a lot of restaurants are still closed your dad and I did take out and ate in our car. :) Dads aunt Dorothy was kind enough to watch Lexi for us so we could have a little date for a few hours. After dinner we went to Costco and Lowes to look at some sales they were having.
We have exciting news we haven't shared really yet, your dad and I are building our very first home!! Well not so much we're building it as we have builders doing it but we couldn't be more excited! We wont be able to move in until after you are born but its been a dream of ours for several years so we can't wait!
This week you are the size of an acorn squash 14 inches and 1 3/4 pounds, you have been a little more active at night time but I am still loving feeling all the movements! It's so crazy to think I am almost in the final trimester of this pregnancy, it seems to have flown by since hitting 20 weeks. We've just been enjoying our nice sunshine weather a few new toys we got for Lexi to use this summer, she's so excited to have you to play with soon.

It's Mother's Day week and I am just so grateful to be your girls Mom! I have always wanted to be a mother and when we first struggled with having kids I really thought it wasn't going to be in my cards. Thankfully the Lord knew that I needed you girls and he blessed me with your sister and now you! Being a Mom has been the best years of my life, sure they are full of worry, tears, mistakes, growth and most importantly LOVE! Times are getting harder and you are constantly feeling self doubt "Am I doing this right? Do they know they are loved?" Questions like this flood my mind constantly but I know that as long as I am trying and doing the best that I can daily for your girls it is enough!
I want you girls to know that whether you choose to be a stay at home mom or a working mom, you are doing your very best and that the Lord will bless you! I want you to find the joy in parenting, yes even when you have really bad moments there is always something good you can find. That is something that I have been striving to do! I hope that you girls know how much I love you, and want only the very best for you both! I hope that I can be the best Mother that I can be, and that you can learn and grow up to be the very best Moms that you can be.
Mother's Day this year we were at Grandpa and Grandma Almonds house for a family BBQ. We had uncle Matt and his family over too, it was so great to finally see everyone again it has been a long time since we could all be together. We had yummy food of course and just enjoyed each others company.
This week you are the size of an eggplant 1.5 lbs. and you are still a very active baby! Both you and your sister were kickers which I am grateful for because it helps me know you are thriving! Thank you for choosing me to be your mom, I can't wait to meet you!

24 Weeks Baby Girl #2
Thursday April 30, 2020
This week has been a good one, we finished April and now it is May which is one of my favorite months. Your dad and I were married on May 15, 2008 so we will be celebrating our Anniversary in a few weeks. We also had a couple of fun days, May 4th people call Star Wars day because of a movie about Jedi's and Siths (you'll see the movie once your a little older) anyway they have a saying in the movie "May the force be with you" so people say "May the 4th be with you" and it turned into a fun day to watch Star Wars movies and dress up in people want to. So of course your dad and I watched the latest Star Wars movie that came out to theaters last Christmas and it was a lot of fun. Cinco de Mayo is a Holiday this month that we celebrated by eating Mexican food and usually we watch a movie called Nacho Libre but this year we didn't get to that.
The virus is still a worry unfortunately but they are starting to re open stores and things that have been closed telling us to just use caution. This is such a crazy time but I am just so grateful for the gospel in my life and all our amazing family and friends!
This week you are the size of an ear of corn about 1 1/4 pound, Lexi continues to talk to you almost daily saying "Hi baby sister." She tells everyone about her baby sister, she is so excited for you, we all are!

Hello sweet baby! This week has flown by so quickly I can't even believe it, we have just been enjoying our beautiful spring weather. Spring is one of my favorite seasons, really I like all the seasons but Winter haha I don't like snow and cold. But I love Christmas and the holidays surrounding the winter months so I make the most of it. Anyway we've had such nice weather your sister and I have been taking walks, playing with friends in the backyard and having picnic lunches as much as we can!

I was busy this week putting together a fun care package to send to uncle Brady, he is graduating from Snow College on May 2nd but due to the virus normal graduation ceremonies were canceled. I feel so bad for all the high school seniors and college graduates who have worked so hard and won't be able to celebrate like others have. So I made sure to make Brady's day special even if we can't be there with him. I am excited to see everyone on a video chat its been a long time since I've seen all of my siblings and parents.
This week has been full of more and more kicks, a little less insomnia and lots of sunshine and fun! You are the size of a large Mango so about 11 inches long and weighing about 1 pound now! It's crazy to me how quickly these last few weeks have been going but we are excited because it means we're closer to meeting you! Keep growing sweet baby!
