It's Mother's Day week and I am just so grateful to be your girls Mom! I have always wanted to be a mother and when we first struggled with having kids I really thought it wasn't going to be in my cards. Thankfully the Lord knew that I needed you girls and he blessed me with your sister and now you! Being a Mom has been the best years of my life, sure they are full of worry, tears, mistakes, growth and most importantly LOVE! Times are getting harder and you are constantly feeling self doubt "Am I doing this right? Do they know they are loved?" Questions like this flood my mind constantly but I know that as long as I am trying and doing the best that I can daily for your girls it is enough!
I want you girls to know that whether you choose to be a stay at home mom or a working mom, you are doing your very best and that the Lord will bless you! I want you to find the joy in parenting, yes even when you have really bad moments there is always something good you can find. That is something that I have been striving to do! I hope that you girls know how much I love you, and want only the very best for you both! I hope that I can be the best Mother that I can be, and that you can learn and grow up to be the very best Moms that you can be.
Mother's Day this year we were at Grandpa and Grandma Almonds house for a family BBQ. We had uncle Matt and his family over too, it was so great to finally see everyone again it has been a long time since we could all be together. We had yummy food of course and just enjoyed each others company.
This week you are the size of an eggplant 1.5 lbs. and you are still a very active baby! Both you and your sister were kickers which I am grateful for because it helps me know you are thriving! Thank you for choosing me to be your mom, I can't wait to meet you!
Lexi took this picture and I was so proud of how well it turned out for a 3 year old!
